As far as the bracket is concerned...

I was happy for S Florida and Temple.

But I was disappointed to see they may have to play each other.

And I hated to see Drexel's bubble burst.

Hard to get your SOS and RPI up when the Bigs are scared to play you.

So I feel bad for them.

On to tonight...

I don't love the matchup for S. Florida vs Cal.

But the Bulls are great at playing and winning ugly.

So I'll grab the points here and hope they can make a few shots.

It turned out to be a great matchup for S. Florida.

They built a big early lead and never looked back.

Cal didn't seem to know what hit them.

It just sucks cuz the Bulls have to play Temple now.

And I wanted to play on both of them.

It should be a good game tho.

And Temple better be careful with that team.

The Owls will be Favs but not by much.

Looks like a pretty even game for a #5 vs #12.

Got roughed up in the late session and finished 3-5 on Tues.

Gonna keep it simple tonight.

Villanova was impressive last night beating down Rutgers.

S. Florida has had their number this year tho, beating them twice.

I know it can be difficult to beat a team 3 times and all.

But the Bulls have plenty of motivation here.

They are firmly on the bubble.

And if I'm on the Tourney committee, this game is a litmus test.

It's real simple for SFla. Win and you're in, lose and you need help.

I'm on record adopting S. Florida this year since 'Nova is out.

So it's put up or shut up time for the Bulls, IMO.

S. Florida jumped out to a big early lead and held on.

Villanova made a few mini runs, but I never felt they would win.

The Bulls just suck the life out of you with their defense.

And their deliberate style makes comebacks difficult.

I wish they had more firepower on the offensive end.

But depending on the matchups, they can make a deep run.

Cuz they're in the dance as far as I'm concerned.

As for 'Nova, they just didn't have it this year.

They battled, but never got on a roll like they usually do.

A Final Four buys you a couple mulligans, though.

And I think Jay Wright will show that this year was a fluke.

He'll have 'Nova Dancing again soon.

NBA Opinion

Let's try this tonight.

The Sixers have played well vs the Bulls.

But this looks like a payback spot.

Chicago is looking for home court in the Playoffs.

The Sixers are a nice young team.

But they struggle sometimes down the stretch without a go to guy.

It was a close game all the way.

The Bulls and D. Rose made a few plays at the end.

And they were able to eke out the cover winning 96-91.

Madness Has Begun!!

Just trying to watch as many games as possible.

Trying to get a feel for some of the teams.

The action has been good.

Next week should be really interesting.

May go down to AC next week for the A10 Tourney.

Think Temple has a great shot at it.

That would be nice for my buddy, senior leader Ramone Moore and the Owls.

If they do that could get them about a 4 seed in the NCAA.

Keep an eye on South Florida!!

I talked about S. Florida on Tuesday.

Well on Weds. they went to Louisville and got a nice road win.

They won the game straight up as an 8pt road Dog.

So that will look good on their resume.

Keep an eye on them in the Big East Tourney and hopefully in the NCAA tourney.

They are build for March with their great defense, rebounding, and pace control.

And their coach Stan Heath is no stranger to deep tourney runs.
