MLB Friday 5/25

YTD 110-116, +9.29: May 64-59, +14.45

Not sure what this line may do.

This may be as good as it gets.

Phillies-116(2 units)(Winner)+2.00
Lohse(5-1) posted a 0.99 ERA over his first four starts this season but since then has allowed 15 earned runs in 28 1/3 innings. His ERA has risen to 2.91 over that span.

Cliff Lee (0-2) gave up season highs in runs (five) and hits (nine) in seven innings during the Phillies' 5-1 loss to Boston in an interleague meeting on Sunday. He was making just his sixth start of the season after spending time on the disabled list with a strained oblique, but remains winless on the year. The 2008 American League Cy Young winner has been pitching well this season, entering Sunday with a 1.95 ERA, but he has not received quality run support from the Phillies offense or bullpen support other times. He is sporting a glossy 0.56 ERA on the road this year.

I think the Phillies bats are alive now. And I expect Lee to bounce back after getting smacked around by Boston.
"Tonight it was definitely my fault," he said. "I've gotta do a better job of that. I gotta get deeper in the game without giving up so many runs. This one falls on me." I remember thinking Lee is going win his next start regardless of the situation. The Phillies are starting to hit, and with Lohse slipping a bit this seems like a good spot.

Both Lee and Lohse have been good, just think Lohse has been much more fortunate record-wise.
The Phils have a little confidence now, so it's time for things to even out a little bit.

Best Wishes!!

Lee not as sharp as I thought early.
So this is not looking good.
They gave him an early 2-0 lead and they now trail 3-2 in the 4th.

Lee and the Phillies bullpen were able to dodge some bullets.
They somehow kept the Cards off the board the rest of the way.
And they were able to tie it in the 7th and win it in the 10th.
Not exactly how I saw it, but we won this coin flip.

Congrats and Cheers Winners!!
